PROFILE: AIKYEN EXCITED TO BE PART OF THE CUB PRIX CONTINGENT IN MUAR

 As the PETRONAS AAM Malaysian Cub Prix Championship brings a maiden stop in Muar, so does Aikyen, the 20 year old lass who made this round her first. Let’s get up close and get in touch with her first experience.
 
CUB PRIX: How do you feel being a part of the Cub Prix Championship for the first time?
 
I’m all excited and anxious at the same time stepping into motorsports like this. Though I must say the jitters are there because this is very new to me.
 
CUB PRIX: Muar has been chosen as the Cub Prix venue for the first time. What do you think of this?
 
I’m very proud and also thrilled knowing that the Championship is in Muar this time around. Usually this place is always popular with its great local cuisine, now the nation knows Muar because of its involvement in the sports.
 
CUB PRIX: Very well, can you please give us a run down on your activities in the modeling industry?
 
I am actually just starting out. Still looking for experience, I do a lot of runaways and fashion show and also photoshoots
 
CUB PRIX: What’s your best moment so far in this field?
 
One of the better memories I had was when I contested the Race Queen 2011 title for two most luxurious automakers, BMW and Mercedez. I fell short of winning, nonetheless I was chosen as Miss Photogenic and that cheer me up alright.
 
CUB PRIX: Where did your inspirations come from? Do you have your own role-model?
 
Oh I don’t have any specific idols, however I do learn and did my studies just through internet like Youtube for example, where I could learn how to catwalk, how to bring yourself up and how to dress down. To be a successful model, as I have a below average height, I need to put an extra effort and literally jump a little taller just to be on the same playing field with the others. I will try and I will succeed.
 
CUB PRIX: If you’re not doing modeling, what’s next for you?
 
My spare times are usually spent surfing the net. If luck is on my side, I’d go on a vacation with my girls. I’m doing this just on a part time basis as I am still furthering my studies.

CUB PRIX: Okay last question, you have this significantly unsmiling feature which sadly might mislead people to think that you’re very strict and unapproachable. Am I correct?
 
Yes I may have this grim aura on my face but the fact is I am just soft and sociable inside. I am easy to talk to and I’m a keen listener. Maybe my features might give off a slight misconception of how I really am inside.
