Delayed
shipment from the island nation of Taiwan to Qatar has forced the Asia
Road Racing Championship organizers to postpone the season finale by a
week. The final round of the 2012 PETRONAS Asia Road Racing
Championship, originally scheduled to take place at the Losail
International Circuit from November 15 to 17, 2012, will now be held
from November 22 to 24, 2012. |

Moto2 wildcard rider Hafizh Syahrin Abdullah shaved 0.245s from his
personal best to qualify 27th on the grid for the Malaysian Motorcycle
Grand Prix at the Sepang International Circuit this weekend. Hafizh who
clocked 2:09.760s in the first day of practice managed to better his
time to 2:09.515s during the qualifying session. This shows a marked
improvement from his previous year's outing where his personal best was
2:11.083s which placed him 33rd on the grid. |

Moto2 wildcard rider, Hafizh Syahrin Abdullah created an unprecedented
situation in the second Moto2 practice session in the Malaysian MotoGP
this weekend when he topped the timesheets in the rain-drenched
practice session. The rider nicknamed 'Pescao' meaning 'Little Fish' in
Spanish by his CEV Buckler competitors for his uncommon speed on
slippery surfaces lived up to his nickname when he clocked a time of
2:13.493s in the torrential downpour. |
