News YUZY REPLACES AFIQ 26 May 2011  Shahrol Yuzy Ahmad Zaini, the Team Manager of Pachie Yuzy Honda Racing has make the decision to revamp his CP115 riders' line-up for the coming Round 4 of the PETRONAS AAM Malaysian Cub Prix Championship that will be held at Precinct 3, Putrajaya on Mei 28 and 29. After three rounds of the Championship, both of his riders, namely Mohd Amirul Aziz Zakaria dan Afiq Rahmat failed to collect any points and the first rider booted out will be Afiq. Afiq will be replaced by Mohd Faris Ahmad Tajuddin while Amirul gets a second chance. "Actually, after Round 2 in Batu Kawan, I have given them warning that if they still do not perform up to the team's expectation, they will not get the chance to race for the team anymore. Unfortunately, we still did not see any fruitful results in the previous race that was held at Kuala Terengganu recently. Amirul did not make if for the final race due to mechanical problems while Afiq managed to finish the race but in 16th placing," said Yuzy. Yuzy went on to add, "We expected Afiq to finish within top-10 or at least collect some points but sad to say there was no improvement. Hence, we will have to release Afiq and his seat will be given to Faris." Meanwhile Yuzy explained on the reason behind the second opportunity given to Amirul. He said, "As for Amirul, we think it's not fair to judge on his results yet as in the first three rounds, he did not qualify for the final race due to mechanic problems and not because of his under par performance. I see the potential in 16-year Amirul, just that lady luck is not on his side as he is always hampered by mechanical issues. We will give him another try and I hope to see him finishing the race within a top-10 placing." Talking about his rider replacement,17-year old Faris, Yuzy was really surprise with Faris capability during the two-day testing session that was conducted at Elite Speedway, Subang Jaya last week. "Faris's performance during the testing sessions exceeded my expectation as he clocked very impressive lap time. I hope he will be able to make an impact in his first outing at Putrajaya. "However, I will give him some time for his to adjust to our team. Even though, this is not a first timer in Cub Prix as he participated in the Wira category as a privateer last year but he need to learn how to cope with the more experience riders in the CP115 category," added Yuzy whose CP130 riders, Mohd Zaqhwan Zaidi and Mohd Amirul Musa who are doing pretty well in the premier category.
