ARRC: NEXT STOP, AUTOPOLIS FOR MALAYSIAN SS600 RIDERS

The PETRONAS Asia Road Racing Championship has reached the mid-season with the Round 4 of the 6-leg Championship sets to take place at the Autopolis International Race Course, Japan on September 9 to 11.
 
With three more rounds to go, there is not much room left for mistakes and all the riders must seize every opportunity to collect as many points as possible to keep their SuperSports 600cc title hopes alive.
 
At the moment, Azlan is currently on an impressive run of five podium finishes out of six races to sits second in the rankings with 84 points. Japanese ace, Katsuaki Fujiwara of Manual-Tech BEET Kawasaki Racing tops the chart with 114.5 points while Azlan’s x-teammate, Mohd Zamri Baba (PETRONAS Yamaha Malaysia) is third with 65 points.
 
Malaysian riders competing in the Japan leg are Mohd Zamri Baba and Mohd Hafieenaz Mohd Ali of PETRONAS Yamaha Malaysia, Azlan Shah Kamaruzaman and Mohd Emir Firdaus Hasan (Boon Siew Honda Racing Malaysia, Hafizh Syahrin Abdullah of PETRONAS Syntium Moto Yamaha Raceline and Ahmad Fuad Baharudin representing Bike A.R.T Kawasaki Racing.
