News ARRC: AZLAN STARTS ON SECOND ROW 9 September 2011  In the combined qualifying results today, Azlan Shah Kamaruzaman managed to set 1:57.394s to take the sixth spot on the grid and the Boon Siew Honda Racing Malaysia will start second on the grid in the Round 4 of the PETRONAS Asia Road Racing Championship that is being held at Autopolis International Racing Course, Japan this weekend. Meanwhile, PETRONAS Syntium Moto Yamaha Raceline’s Hafizh Syahrin Abdullah put on an impressive performance as he managed to clock 1:57.708s to claim the 10th spot on the grid while Mohd Zamri Baba (PETRONAS Yamaha Malaysia) only managed to set 1:58.659s and he is the18th fastest rider out of 27 participants. Ahmad Fuad Baharudin and Mohd Emir Firdaus Hasan is the 20th and 21st fastest with the laptime of 1:58.893s and 1:59.137s respectively. As for the Underbone 115cc category, Mohd Ramdan Mohd Rosli (PETRONAS Syntium Moto Yamaha AHM) will start tomorrow’s race on the front row. Ramdan clocked 1:32.809s in the second qualifying session and secure the third spot on the grid. Norizman Ismail (Harian Metro Y-TEQ SCK Honda Racing) claimed the fourth spot on the grid with the laptime of 1:33.154s, followed by his teammate, Mohd Affendi Rosli (1:33.459s). Ahmad Afif Amran (Yamaha CKJ TJM Racing) will start on third row with the laptime of 1:33.589s while Mohd Rozaiman Mohd Said (Motul Yamaha YY Pang Racing) secured eighth fastest with 1:33.793s.
